Glad that I could inspire you! Although I grew up with rhubarb desserts, this was the first pie--of any kind--that I have ever made. My mother gave me an A+ so I must have done something right. My suggestion would be to go old-school all the way for your first rhubarb experience. In other words, avoid Strawberry-Rhubarb anything like the plague: it won't do it justice! I've never tasted rhubarb but this certainly makes me want to try a large wedge with a cup of hot coffee! Mmm..Mmm.
